Inside our workshop
No mass production, no shortcuts. Every Vario Racing wheel set is built by hand in our own workshop – from the bare hub to the finished, trued wheel. Take a look behind the scenes.
Step 01 · Lacing
Each spoke is laced by hand in the correct cross pattern – flange by flange, nipple by nipple. This is where hub and rim become one wheel, and where care pays off later on the track.
Step 02 · Tensioning
Spoke tension is built up in several rounds with a torque wrench – never in one go. That way the load is spread evenly across the whole wheel, which is what makes it strong under hard braking and landings.
Step 03 · Truing
On the truing stand we measure radial and lateral runout with a dial gauge and correct it spoke by spoke – until the wheel runs true and sits perfectly centred on the hub.
Step 04 · Engraving
Your logo, name or race number – engraved permanently into the hub or rim. Sharp, clean and here to stay: it won't peel off or fade like a sticker.
